Today me and Emma did some hardcore catching up in a café for 2 hours before shopping for new year's alcohol. Super fun day apart from walking around with a pimple the size of Okinawa which has set camp under my EYE and refuses to vanish.
I also learned about the frightening amount of death penatlties that are carried out in China.
I'm into smells lately. Namely perfumes and booze smell. Bought a bottle of Malibu tonight, could smell it forever instead of drinking it.
Edit edit edit:::: whoa whoa wait, 2009 is coming to an end. I should point some things out before I forget.
THIS YEAR I HAVE:
Lived in the most awesome city ever.
Learnt kind-of-OK-could-be-alot-better Japanese.
Drunk too much.
Made amazing friends.
Met people I'll never forget.
Gotten laid.
Had a distinct lack of romance.
Held speeches in front of way too many people. Fuck that.
Spent a fortune on Starbucks coffee (worth it).
ROLLER COASTER RIDE!
Talked to Kago Ai lolololol.
All in all and in all seriousness, I've had my best year so far which also has served as a huuuuge learning experience in every way possible. Starting next year I'll live and study in Stockholm, and after I get some full-time working experience and my hairdressing license it's HELLOOOO WORLD again.
I'm so glad that leaving Japan in March doesn't sound too bad anymore.

So yea uh, about what I said earlier.
Thing is, I applied for this hairdressing school in Stockholm.
And went for an interview yesterday.
Got an answer today, earlier than I though.
So yea uhmmm...

Realization; when I come home, as in home-home, things seem so clear. In Japanese and English things get clouded. Suddenly everything is naked and direct. And everyone is fragile, some are just better at covering it up. It's a nice and comfortable theory. Also, while taking a look at my feet while on the toilet, I realize I should cut my toe-nails more often. Errr.
After spending three hectic days in Stockholm I am now back in my room in Hudiksvall. It's cold outside, warm inside, and my own inside is filled with hope about the coming two years. Nothing is of certain yet, it's just a feeling and I'm just sayinnn'.
Let's leave it like that until next week or so.
I found a book which O forgot here ages ago. It seems awesome and I will spend a couple of days reading it. |
